Akakubi 07-26-2003, 06:14 PM Basically the one that gives out most light is the preferred one. You must see it warn you or it's useless. :) The other factor is where you want to place it: on the dash, steering column or A-pillar. Autometer is excellent quality. :dunno vodomagoo 07-27-2003, 02:51 PM i have a spa techniques and love it ///M LIFEŠ 07-28-2003, 05:51 AM I want to get a shift light, but most are with the tach. I want a small light thats all nothing too tacky Akakubi 07-28-2003, 04:36 PM Here are some Autometer models that are sold separately from the Tachs. You can add color lenses to this shift-light to have a desired output. This is a stand-alone piece. The others, that are a bit smaller, will require a module that will calculate the correct RPM's for the light to shift. Hope this helps...:dunno TARIKM3/4 07-28-2003, 04:51 PM I'm thinking about going with the smaller autometer light. it requires a separate box that mounts under the dashboard. then i have to buy the pills too. it's going to cost about $170 for everything. Akakubi 07-28-2003, 06:07 PM If it's for the shipped kit, that's a great deal. The 'Box is the most expensive item, but can be used with many lights in case you decide to upsize. megatron 07-28-2003, 08:40 PM check this one out as an option. http://www.harlan-engineering.com/store/store.html this is made by my buddy from my college fsae team. he's a really smart guy (we won a few fsae championships together, back in the day - so we were doing something right :)) and this shiftlight has gotten a sort of cult following in the domestic world. he runs a turbo ls1 firehawk thats' somewhere in the bottom 9's. i used to run one in my old 968 and loved it. |
