Mine are out. Switched out the hazard button to no avail. Since I pretty much suck at German, which fuse relay should be replaced?

I started messing around with the fuses/ relays, when i put the extra relay for the hazard light in an empty slot, I got this weak buzzing sound and the foglights came on (Didn't know they even worked). Looked in real oem and bmw fans, cannot find the relay for the foglights (illumination panel). Anyone out there point me in the right direction? Grazie

Still having a problem with the hazard lights not working. Changed out the hazard button, relay and checked all fuses. Zippo. All my other lights work, turn signals, etc. Anyone got an idea? What am I missing???

is the connector under the switch alright?
mine was having some issues therefore the switch wasn't working

Try removing and reinstalling Relay K16... its the Hazard Flasher Relay according to the ETM.

Thanks all for the response. Removed the relay, still no dice. Checked the connector, all seems fine to me. I am waaaayyy outta my league with electronics, I'm just glad I didn't fry the car already. May have to find a local shop and have them check it out for 50 euro an hour :mad.

would it show an error code in diagnostics?
maybe you can have them just read the codes and you go from there

Check Fuse # 3 and #6 (use a meter to see if you have current acorss the lugs). Check the flasher relay K16 (front fuse box)
The crash module could also play a part (N17 Relay in the front fuse box), as could the LKM. There is also the flasher light relay K52z (also in the front fuse box).

I would start with both relays, then look at the LKM and finally the crash module (N17).
