I read the thread about the new EML v2.0 chip and was so impressed that I contacted Wolf and asked about a set for my 93 850ci. The price of $405 kinda blew me away  but I guess the latest and best does come with a cost. My car is now on stock chips so anything would probably be a vast improvement; so my question is whether some of you guys that have made the upgrade to the V2.0 may want to sell your old v1.0 chips? It will help you recapture some of your investment and certainly help me go quicker/faster.

You need all 3 chips , not just the EML chip (which is the one that was upgraded).
Even if you just buy the V1 chipset for $200, you will be happy

Actually, I added the EML chip on it's own (I'm already running the Conforti ones)
BTW-you really (really) NEED this v2.0 chip...

Don't cheap out and get the V2 chip. Your looking for performance gain, so why not just spend few more Benjamins and get the best result.

I will be contacting Wolf about getting the V2 chips come the middle of the month, aka next pay day!

Over time thru browsing for info and ideas I can say that Wolf is well respected all over the net. He's one of a few purists. Stay clear of imitations & if someone stears you from the genuin Wolf product they are the types to stay away from. "As far as someone trading their chips in" like Tx said when you purchase a v1 set you get 3 chips, 2 ecm and 1 eml...lets say I upgrade to the v2 all you get is the eml chip. If you purchase the v2 you get the 2 ecm v1 chips and a v2 eml chip.
