View Full Version : Thinking about selling up

Hi guys,

As the title basically says I'm currently thinking about selling my 8.

A couple of reasons for my madness but the main one is that I'm thinking about doing some travelling around the world and can't really justify keeping the 8 in storage for when or if I ever come back.

I'm sure all of you know whats been added / tweaked on my car and I would like to think that all of it has been tastefully done and all of it - well apart from the leather that is could be removed and restored back to OEM if someone wished to do so.

Now onto pricing, I know the car market has died a death lately and obviously this effects all cars, including the 8's. If anyone is really interested then PM me with an offer, I know I will never get back what I've spent out on the car but I'm not willing to give it away.

Mileage is currently a shade under 70K.

Cheers,

Wayne.

Sorry to hear that Wayne, she sure is a beauty and you've done some very tasteful quality mods. Hopefully some of the UK people that aren't active at 8er.org will see this.

I am sad to read this, I have always admired your car.

I hope whomever buys it, keeps that great custom leather job.

Good luck

Thanks guys for the comments, I'm sure I'll be back.

Well the car has one previous owner other than me, I originally bought the car on 52k and now is very close to 70k. It has quite a few extra options such as:
Headlight washers
Heated seats
Electronic tilt etc for the steering wheel
Rear blind
Cruise
I have had Gerry & Simon @ Phoenix Motorsport go through the whole car and if anything needed replacing it was!
It has the 3.91 lsd and has been remapped, and now is 299.9 bhp, with great numbers on torque etc and I have the dyno to prove. IMHO this car wants for nothing and runs like a dream. The colour is Avus Blue and look stunning in the sun.

On the mods front.
18" deep dished genuine Alpina's
HID Xenon's kit
Strong Strut
Goodridge Hoses brake hoses
E34 M5 3.91 LSD - I also have the original 840 diff which has 58K on it
ACS Pedal Set
Rear Reinforcement Plates - Phoenix Motorsport
E64 Titanium Gear Knob
E46 Armrest
Camber Plates - Phoenix Motorsport
Front CSi Anti Roll Bar
Alloy Pullys - Phoenix Motorsport
Remapped ECU - Phoenix Motorsport
Whole New Leather Interior

If anyone wants anymore info, PM me.

Wayne.

sad news Wayne. your car needs for nothing. but that might be the problem. you cant sell it. stop messing about. what you need is a new challenge. get on the net and find a new toy an 8 of cause.a 6 speed with ahk. I know of such a beast in need of tlc.
