I tore a set of EBC pads up at the track and they left small deposits on my new Brembo slotted rotors. I have race pads on the way but would like to remove the deposits.
Is having the rotors turned an option? Can I sand them down? Any help is appreciated.

Turning them is fine as long as they remain above minimum thickness, which is 26.4 front and 18.4 rear (for stock rotors).

The solution is simple: toss EBC pads!

Already did that. Ordered Hawk pads for the track and Axxis for the street.

Good deal. Yes Hawks are good for the street too in the HPS and HP+ compounds. I run the Ultimate on the street and love em.
One thing you can try to do to your rotors before turning them is scrubbing them with Garnet paper. If the shudder is really bad, however, then yes get them turned. Pep boys does em for $6/each.
