View Full Version : Brake pads gurus, HELP Byzanz 07-23-2003, 05:23 PM I tore a set of EBC pads up at the track and they left small deposits on my new Brembo slotted rotors. I have race pads on the way but would like to remove the deposits. Is having the rotors turned an option? Can I sand them down? Any help is appreciated. Yes Hawks are good for the street too in the HPS and HP+ compounds. I run the Ultimate on the street and love em. One thing you can try to do to your rotors before turning them is scrubbing them with Garnet paper. If the shudder is really bad, however, then yes get them turned. Pep boys does em for $6/each. |
