What are your thoughts?

Ive heard it is a very straightforward install. So...

should i do it myself? If so, anyone want to help? hehe...

or

should i get a shop to do it? If so, which?

Thanks

Not sure if they have DIY for the E46, but for the E36, no need for instructions. Just remove the OEM pullies and attach the new pulley, you might need a smaller belt for the smaller pulley sizes..

Mark, what vendor's pullies are you buying?

I JUST got my UUC pullies in and I am going to DIY these, of course. neilm3 is also ordering them, so I believe we're gonna try to do an install together, if he can get them in a timely fashion.

I've got E36 instructions that came with the pullies... I imagine instructions would come with any pulley set that you order.

Easy DIY install. Just get a strap wrench and have the assorted sockets and you should be good to go.

im getting Evosports UDP from TMS. Im assuming instruction would come with the set.

i wanted the UUC ones, but they dont have em for E46 M3 yet :(

perhaps we can all put ours on together, should be fun. if not, ill wait till my dad comes into town so he can drool over the car while we become grease monkeys for a while.

let me know.

Not to mention a 32mm open-end wrench and a fan removal tool *of some sort*...

Hey Guys, sorry I'm Late!!

Ron: Unfortunately, I will not be able to add the UUC UDP to my list of mods. Turns out the AA SC cannot handle these. You should come by Marco's house saturday morning, like he said, we are replacing my brakes.

BTW, anyone here have a c-clamp I can borrow?

Big pair of pliers... Right alongside a BFH, BFPliers are your next best friend. :D
