Hi guys, I just wonder if the 05 X3 3.0 brake rotors and pads are the same with the E46 330i ? I see many listing on ebay for brake rotors and pads for z3 3.0, x3 3.0, e46 330i on the same listing.
I'm looking to buy a aftermarket brake package to replace my worn out brake right now. Anyone know where can I get them for good price ? thanks

Off the top of my head, I'd say no.

I have a 330 and just got a x3 not sure by just looking at them. Try that site posted above.

The part number for rotors and pads all different between them on realoem.com but the diameter of the rotors are the same 325x25 front and 320x22 rear, I just wonder if they use different number so we pay more for the X3 parts ? I can find brake package for E46 330 for $300 but can not find any vendor have one for X3. Is that sad ? :(

The rotor hat is probably the difference between the two.

Trust me, they could give 2 shits about charging you a couple of bucks more for a "different part number". If they could be saving money by using the same part for both models instead of 2 different ones, they would.

Dawn, if I were know it is so hard to find parts for X3, I should of got the X5 3.0 instead. NAmotorwerk.com has a brake package for x5 3.0 for $319 that included everythings from rotors to fluid. That is an awsome deals. Anyone here with X3 can find a deal like that ?
