Are you looking for representation or free advice? If you want to hire someone, I have a good attorney who has got me off on a few violations. Let me know...

CHP in a 35? I'd check to see if they have jurisdiction there.

They do and you'll lose the fight, don't waste $$ on an attorney, traffic school...

A good attorney will often get you off on a technicality. That's what happened with both cases that my attorney won for me. ;)

How much was the attorney? How much would traffic school and the fine be? I haven't had a moving violation in so long I have no idea.. I guess I jinxed myself.. I better be on the lookout!

I don't remember but after taking into consideration what the ticket would have cost and traffic school, it was worth it to me.

I'm not sure what I am looking for at this point, I got a ticket similar to this from CHP a few months back, ended up fighting it and he didn't show up. The sucky part about this is, I have seen this cop at the courthouse before, so I am fairly certain he will show up.

I'm thinking I can do one of the following:

Trial by Declaration, and if I lose that I can still go to trial.
Get a court date, and push it back so I will be fighting this sometime over summer
Or maybe get a lawyer?

On the ticket, it says the he got me with laser, which if i remember correctly, needs a shiny object to bounce off of, like a front plate? I don't have a front plate, but there was a car next to me, going not much slower than me...

So that's all I've got right now :(

edit: And he was sitting in a driveway of businesses, I thought they weren't allowed to sit on private property to catch people?
