i have a 2005 x3 3.0i. the car runs great. only has 50000kms (30000miles) and is still under warrenty. its going back for end of lease soon. its not really a problem its just me asking if its a common thing. when i'm in steptronic mode in the car and i shift from only 1st to second at higher rpms (5000rpm+) it makes some sort of squeeling sound. there is no performance lag or anything wrong mechanically. i'm just asking if anyone has the similar problem. it is most probably from the transmission.
