Well it was bound to happen...

I bought a set of wheels from a guy online (not BF.c) back in November. He did not have a Paypal account, so I sent him a personal check and allowed him to wait two weeks for it to clear before he would ship the wheels. Well that's when the excuses started...

First his "aunt died", and he would have to delay shipping another week... I said "no problem" and gave him a week. Then after blowing up his phone and email for the next week, he replied back and says he's having trouble finding boxes. I told him to take them to the UPS Store and I'd pay for the extra cost of packing. Then he started just not replying at all to phone, text, or email.

Before I take legal action (he did deposit my personal check), I would like to know if I could recruit someone to stop by his home address and pick up the wheels in person. I will then pay said person to ship them to me and of course some money for your trouble. Is there anyone near Marina, CA 93933 that's interested? Thanks! :)

Maybe it would help to contact the local police and ask for assistance. I think this falls under the "recovering stolen property" area since you paid and he hasn't shipped in a timely manner. Hari, maybe you could send a letter saying that spoon (use real names of course) is acting as your agent and has legal right to claim said property? I wish I was closer. Half my paintball team are law enforcement and they would LOVE to help out in a situation like this.

I'm a "big scary guy", and I have "big scary guy" friends. It's a shame I don't live closer, I would've gladly gone to his house with a baseball bat asking for the rims. It would've been fun scaring the piss out of an Ass Hat like that!
