I am going to Portland tomorrow to pick up my 2001 X5. I am wondering if anyone makes a chip or reflash kit for the 4.4. I see that Turner makes one for the 3.0. What's up with us V8 owners are we just SOl for performance upgrades?

damn, should have done your homework first. the '04 and newer models already have the power increase AND get better MPG than the 3.0L. PLUS a host of updates to the vehicle itself.

Agree with Sprocket1200. As far as I know, only Dinan provided "Software Upgrade" on 4.4.
