Maybe the week prior they had one side stolen and needed replacements. *shrugs shoulders*

Holy S! :mad:mad:mad

Man that sucks, i'm really sorry to see what happened to you. Lately, I've been so completely and utterly dejected by people as a whole. It's f'n ridiculous that you'll have to pay your insurance deductible just to get your car back to the condition you were already keeping it in. If it's any consolation, at least the book/dealer cost of those wheels is sky high so hopefully your ins. co. will cut you a nice check.

They only took one side because there was only one rock..

iamhydrogen
01-16-2009, 03:03 PM
i supposed that is possible, that the people who stole the wheels in the middle of the night felt really bad about having only one rock so they opted not to steal the other side and leave the car sitting on its rotors.

orrrr...and this is just a thought. the wheels that they stole were on the side of the car facing away from the house and therefore they were less likely to be seen while in the process of robbing the guy. :stickoutt

I have McGaurd locking lugs on the wheels on my S13 and I honestly don't see a way people could get those off with out the keys. Yes "key's". There's 2 different locks on each wheel.

Well at least their roads aren't as bad as Boston.

That sucks though, this could happen anywhere which you should know.

I would be missed about how they put the left side of the car up on a cement block, may need a new side skirt too since that definitely is not on one of the lift/jack rubber pieces

i live in cranston and they tried to steal the wheels of my car also. it was summer and i heard them breaking them loose, the asshats were smart enough to stack up the wheels they were taking off at my back door, i tried to get out the door and couldn't! the last wheel only had 1 wheel bolt left when i scared them away, mine was on milk crates didn't screw anything up.

to the op i have 2 wheels slightly bent and tires in ok shape if you want to buy something cheap to get back on the road.

Ive gotten them off before... We had a customer who legit lost the key... we got the wheel off no problem... not easy... nor do I think it would be doable in a street... or wouldnt be very easy
