This Friday I plan on taking delivery of a 2006 X3. The vehicle has the Sport package (M steering wheel, wheels, door sills, ect...) The bumpers and side skirts are paint matched. Its got the Zenon headlights heated seats; everything but nav. The vehicle is auto and has 30000 miles. It was just turned in on a lease 2 days ago. They are asking $26,858. This will be my 3rd BMW. I just don't know much about the X series.

BMW also offered me 1.9% financing, the extended service package, and reminder of the factory warranty until 2011. It's a CPO also. I don't have any photos of it because it was just turned in. It's Silver Gray Metallic with a black interior. Is this a good deal for this X3?

I just got the same x3 last Thursday. I think that price is high. They will come down. Your finance should be 0.9% on an 06, if you have good credit. What part of the country are you in? Dan

I'd be buying it near Albany NY. They tried to finance me at 0.9%, but based off of some things on my credit, they offered me 1.9% financing. It may be a 2007, because the salesman said it has the 260hp engine, when I asked if it was the 225hp 3.0l. I did a quick walk around the vehicle because it was just turned in on a lease a day prior. I'm going back to the dealer again tomorrow. I'll try to provide some more details.

I live in fairfield county CT. I think you can get it for $2,000. less if it is an 06.

I bought a similar '06 X3 with sport package a few months back with the same mileage - black on black. I got the dealer down to $26,000 which included the extended maintenance and the car was virtually flawless. I felt happy with my deal since I shopped around at 6 different dealers and this was the best deal I could find.

If it's an '07, I think it's a good deal - but if that's their initial asking price you should easily be able to talk them down a bit. Most '07s near me are now around $27,900-$29,900.

I forgot to mention that the extended maintenance for an '06 X3 is around $1,300. If you add this on at purchase when signing all the paperwork - when they try to slip in all that useless, overpriced crap like acid etched windows & tire warranties for outrageous prices - it's $1,700. I'm sure it's padded for the dealers to make a nice profit on, but at least you have peace of mind for up to 100,000 on brakes, oil & belts.

I just purchased an '07 x3 black/black with premium, sport, xenon, and cold package for 28,000 with extended warranty and transportation from CA to TX. Consider the '07 its upgraded interior is alot nicer and the price difference is small. The engine is also better...

I'm really enjoying the sport package, it drives stiffer, but it's alot of fun.

I picked it up last Friday. I got it for $25,800. The vehicle is flawless inside and out. I got the extended maintenance plan for free, which was nice. After tax and misc. fees, it bumped the price up to just over $28k. BMW also hooked me up with 0.9% financing. It figured to $913 interest over 60 months. Here's a few pics i took as soon as I got it home from the BMW dealer:

It is an 06, 225hp. I think the salesman didn't know the difference between the engines through the years. He said he only has been with the dealership 4 months. Other than that he was a great guy to work with.

It awesome in the snow. I've driven it through around 10 inches of unplowed roads, with no problems, going around 40 mph. I never plan on taking it off road, so it's perfect for my needs and the Upstate NY winters.

The most snow mine has seen is 1 inch...:D But had the chance to drive on ice and it is simply amazing.
