I was just curious if anyone has had this problem with the X3. The passenger side back floor was soaked with water last night after some rain. I took it to the dealer that i bought it from today(Non BMW) and they said something about being the draining of the sunroof. I still have the warranty till 10/09 but i was just curious if this was a common problem. Thanks in advance.

How many miles on the car?
Is the car still under factory warranty? that would be a no brainer...

My dad just got an 06 X3 Sport with 29k, I hope he doesn't run into this problem.

Actually, this seems to be a fairly common occurance, at least there are a few posts on here about it. It could be the drains for the sunroof, but I would be more inclined to have them look at the vapor barrier that is supposed to be attached to the door behind the interior panel. If this comes unattached from the door itself, it can leak. I would look there first if it was me.

i also have an 05, we noticed some water stains on the headliner. took her in. 1 week later, new pillars, new headliner, new sunroof. DO IT while its under warranty!

I have had three repairs, so far. 2 cassette replacements and 1 issue with the drain hoses.
