I was looking at an x5 with 88k miles, and the guy was looking for $14,500. Just wanted to know what kind of problems people ran into and how many does your current x5 have?

I service reguarly a X5 3.0 that the guy has put around 285k miles on it, it is like a 01 or so. All orig, orig eng, tranny, xcase, He is a traveling salesman.

Every car is diff, some have more problem than others.

3.0 engines are bullet proof. buy it.

My X5 is 01' with 132k miles and NO problem.

Our 01 X5 has 155k. No major problems either. Doesn't even leak.
