It's only decriminalized meaning that if you get caught with it, you wont get send to jail and it wont be put on your record. I forget how much though.

However until the local PO can figure out how to issue a ticket/fine for it they are currently just giving you a summons to appear in court and than the court issues the fine.

As someone who partook of the weed until I was 28 (I'm now 49), my best advice is knock that shit off. Complete waste of time, money and a risk to good employment. This new decriminalization has no effect on drug screening for a job.

um...no. I major in criminal justice, already discuss this issue in many of my law classes.

dont know about you guys, but many people thought they will just get a fine and they could keep the weed, that is not true. and yes the law is passed, as many of you know is passed because people vote for it to have it passed. but the government could make revoke the law, which I think its stupid because you have people vote for it and it pass, than the government think its not a good idea so they want to revoke the law.

Also the reason it passed, was to make things fair between classes..before when you'd get a criminal record that would screw the lower/middle class kids, who made a mistake or two..ie no Fincial aid, hard to get a job ect. In comparison to some people where it dosn't effect that since there wealthy enough to pay for school out w/o any sort of fincial aid, or have money to not have to worry about a criminal record.

Isnt thier a couple Europen Countries in which if you get a fine, you are fined based on your income? I belive? So like a billionare would have a $1000 speeding ticket vs the avg $100 one

Yep under an ounce carries a lesser penalty than before, just a fine. The kids at school were pretty pleased about this. Question 2 legislation is what passed it I believe
