I notice there is no AC SCHNIZTER logo on any of the spokes but on the website there is one. It comes in the ACS box and center caps but I see a slight difference on the inner part of the lip. Is this legit?

View Full Version : Is this a real ACS TYPE II or fake? GriMpY 07-18-2003, 04:10 AM I notice there is no AC SCHNIZTER logo on any of the spokes but on the website there is one. GriMpY 07-18-2003, 04:11 AM ?? woobiee 07-18-2003, 04:16 AM did you check the back (inside of the rim) for any markings like "made in germany" or "AC Schnitzer" etc? GriMpY 07-18-2003, 10:07 AM i cant, its not local. woobiee 07-18-2003, 02:48 PM oh...i dont know then. to my educated guess, i would say they are authentic (i can see part of the AC Schnitzer spacers in the first pic that they give you when you buy their rims) GriMpY 07-19-2003, 01:34 AM anyone else have any suggestions? Does all ACS Type II have the ACS logo on the spokes? I notice this one does not but others I have seen have the logo. Is the logo a sticker? Do you think these are the alutec M rims with a ACS cap? Also anyone heard of ACS with 21.5 offset? Your help is appreciated... DC GriMpY 07-19-2003, 07:04 PM The seller just told me that the rims do not come with spacers. He also said that it does not have the etched logo on the spokes. I only have until tonight to cancel my bid, what do you guys think? Thanks woobiee 07-19-2003, 10:41 PM ask him if it has any marking on the inside of the wheel, AC Schnitzer logo, 'made in germany' and/or rim numbers, maybe give you pics of these |
