I have a E70 X5 2008.

My passenger side fender is damaged with a crack (an upside down v crack) near the yellow reflector, below the headlight. Is it fixable? If not, how much will a fender costs? Or should i claim the insurance (have collision and Comprehensive)?

Something similar is happening to me, with my 650 though not the X5. I will let you know how the insurance companies feel about replacing a bumper for chips/cracks.

Although, someone is at fault for my damage (not me), so you might have a bit more trouble.

Anything is fixable... a little body filler and some paint. Replacing a new X5 fender may be a little tricky though, since it's also part of the front bumper.
