OK maybe im doing to much with this, BUT im trying to get the ride height right on my ride. From the fender to the ground im getting 24.5"
Now i know not everyones is the same but i will say that KOZI's Ride height front to rear makes me pitch a tent. Kinda looks like a slight rake
or is it judged by fingers???
3 in the rear 2 in the front?:help

Should be more clearance in the front between the fenders and the wheels as opposed to the back-same as stock, but just less of it

Is the stock height even if you were to measure from the frame to the ground???
front to rear

Anybody got a stock one left to measure from ground to fender? :)
(My non-scientific method involved going to Wuffer's site and looking at some good pics from the side of some non-molested cars)
I think my springs are stock but it looks like there is too much clearance in the front and I think it looks strange, especially if the front wheels are turned.
Unfortunately my car is a little ways away right now so I can't check it easily for you guys :P

I turn your attention to Wuffer's site:
http://www.wuffer.net/_mgxroot/page_for_sale.html for some stock cars. There is more of a gap in the front than in the rear-that's by design. What usually happens is that when you lower the car it (the difference between the front and rear) just becomes more noticeable because the rear didn't have much room to begin with and looks really slammed afterwards.

Measured all the way around on the Black auto with 18 inch MK wheels. Tires are 245/40 in front and 285/35 in the back. Came up with the same measurement of 27 inches from the ground to the top of the fender. Hope this helps you out.
Take care.

Carter

True, I figured as much, but I really hate it. I'm not keen on lowering the car since the roads in MA are pretty awful and the ride is already stiff enough, but I wouldn't mind chopping the front spring and dropping it about 0.5" to decrease that gap as it drives me crazy.

Hi Smokum, I'm not sure of the measurements to the top of my wheel wells but I do have a slight rake going. This is all thanks to MWrench who made custom cut rear springs to go with my H&R fronts. Ed knew exactly what I was lookin' for. The tiny bit of rake makes the car look aggressive--especially in person. Plus the Pirelli P-Zero Rosso tires have a real fat mean looking profile to them (245/40 and 285/35) that fills up the wheel wells real nicely.
Bottom line with this setup: no gaps and overall a real tough look. Go for it!
Cheers

i don't have a good pic of my car on hand but i know exactly what your'e talking about. what i did was h&r springs in the front and left the rear stock. that gives you an equal amount of space between wheel and fender on both front and rear. don't cut front springs! (you'll see plenty of threads on that) :buttrock
