anybody interested? Im probably going to be buying a 1995 318is. I want to sell the engine, 5 speed transmission, ecm/harness to make back some money. I dont know much about the car, so im just seeing if anyones interested in this stuff if its all in proper working order. The owner says it has 150,000 miles and runs good. Before removing the engine Ill take some pics/video of the car running and driving. if the buyer wanted, they could drive the car, and then we or I would remove some bolts and place the engine and other goodies in your vehicle. I can get this sorta thing shipped, and packed safely, but im pretty sure its a good chunk of money to ship heavy stuff. :( i paid $150 for a hood from mass, and that was a few months ago. Ill be completley honest if i see anything wrong and if wanted i can do a compression test and cooling system test. I might not buy this car if I dont get any interest or something about it turns me off.

Only say your interested if you have the cash in hand for the stuff and you know you will buy it, i dont have any desire to have annother engine and transmission laying around:embarrasm

Heres my two, orange one sat in a feild for 10 years before i got it 5 years ago, but it started this summer... clutch master seized in so i couldnt drive it :( The blue one is prettymuch rust free and is a rolling shell. Luckily ive got enough parts laying around to put together two or more 02's :shifty Strangley enough I want to put a M10 in this e36, and i want to put annother one in the 02. or maybe a m54 after looking at that thread!

well i bought the car. and its not the same as the title of this post states. Its a 92, with 217k and a few issues. car was low on coolant, about 3/4 qt. Oil was full and clean, dipstick, filler cap and what i could see of vlavetrain all looked nice and clean! Spark plugs could use replacemant, as well as fan clutch, belts and some gaskets. either the rear main seal of trans input seal are leaking pretty good. 2-3 drips on the floor every hour after a 45 min drive. v/c gasket seeps but dosent travel far, as well as the head gasket seeps oil on the pass side. Neither require immediate attention, and look about the same as most m50's with 100k. will come with a/c pump/condensor/lines; ps pump, alt and associated ecm leads and sensors...

the car sits and idles for 40 or so min, drives and shifts well. no funny noises at low or high rpm, other than a little hint of rice from the muffler :D The car needs a front strut and rtab's BAD so its not the smoothest feeling car at all but ill fix that someday!

Heres the deal, $400 for engtrans ecm and listed items. I will be selling other items from this car if anyone is interested, mostly items associated with making it lighter. If anyone has a good used susp setup for autox, and you want this motor, that would be a perfect trade.

Interested in a 5 spd swap but need all parts involved with it. Nevermind you are almost 6 hours of driving and for the cost i can pick up a E36 318i for the fuel and toll costs.

But here's a free bump.

I think a trans is small enough to fit on a greyhound buss, which would be like $60 to NY.

Id really like to find a buyer for ALL items to once. $400 is pretty cheap I think. High miles but it goes good. I guess a video of it or a ride in it would be the best! Im thinking of insuring, registering, and driving it for the rest of the winter. The susp is beat and the roads here are terrible, would save me from doing ball joints and strut tops on my 325 probably. :)
