I love the new CMS Joomla and PHP.... So much flexibility in putting a website together...
So what you guys think of this design? I am about to build a website for my 850's :-)

Do you have enough media to fill out the template?

Also, IMHO the site should be moved up a bit. My screen's at 1280 x 800 and there's a big gap between the top of the nav buttons and the top of the page, but the bottom section doesn't fit. Otherwise, the site looks good. :buttrock

What's the purpose? Fan site, forum, sales?

Thanks mate... I just start messing with this PHP portal about an hour ago so the end product ain't there yet... I am just debating what design approach to take....
As for purpose, is just a fan site :-) We have lots of private forums already and another one won't be a good idea at all.... Just a place to showcase my 850's, that's all.....

Drupal 6.x kills joomla in my personal opinion... My opinion is biased though, I've been with drupal since the start, and still cannot find a better framework to develop on.

joomla's fine - I've got my own bias' as well as I've been building DNN sites for a long time (for specific applications) - they all pretty much come down the skill of the developer to make sure that they don't look like the basic template is all.
Keep plugging away and have fun with it!
