Has anyone had the tail light warning light come on after they installed their LED tails? Does anyone know of an independent shop too get it reset? Or am I stuck going to the dealer?

I was always under the impression that you dont need a reset, just some resistors to trick the car into thinking the stockers are back there.

You don't need resistors, it's possible to have an indy shop or dealer "code" the car to recognize LED tails. However, if they are aftermarket and not OEM tails, they'll most likely just disable the tail light out light on the dashboard, as the electrical components aren't the same.

They're OEM's. I have Landshark a call to see what they would charge for the LCM reflash and they quoted $125. Does this seem about right?

Of course we have problems getting inspections its not like we have friends that would break the law and pass our cars :shifty
