How many cases you want? You've been 'almost at the point' for one reason or another with those springs for months now.....:stickoutt

10-4
They just been siting here and i wanted to clone them so they wont be completly gone but no one else seems to think its that good of an idea???
I think it would be sick to clone the springs (Betts) and sway bars (swayaway)
and sell thoses as a kit or something.

Your in Cali...I would mail them to Ed. Maybe something regarding the springs can be salvaged? He would be the one to know.

If they are the stage 3 Dinans they have already been measured by Ed.

I'd love to have a set of those springs, if you clone them, I'll buy a set :)

probably the only one though that prefers such a firm ride

If they are the stage 3 Dinans they have already been measured by Ed.

I have tested both the Stage II and Stage III Dinan springs. They are not worth cloning! Between the CSI, M tech, Eibach and H&R/cut rear, RD sport (not recommended) The choices for stiff to soft and ride height are available.

Most spring manufacturers want a minimum of 50 sets before they will talk to you and it will be cash in advance! Cloning any E31 spring would not be a good biz idea and would not bring anything to the community!

Anti-sway bars? Maybe a different concept, BUT again the manufacturers will not talk to you unless you can give a firm order of at least 25 sets, again cash in advance or COD at a minimum. Some bar benders have a 50 set entry limit. I have relationships with all four of the major bar benders doing bars for the European community and three that can do any general bending.

I have the cad layout of both early and late E31 anti-sway bars, front and rear. It might be remotely possible to do a single front (would have to be a much better layout then the previous attempt) and the rears are completely different, so the matrix get very complicated and you can not lump every E31 into a potential buy or group. It comes down to how many early and how many late E31 owners would need/want/buy a set.

Terry, I need to send your springs back, sorry for the delay, have set them aside while working on other suspension systems. I will attend to this after the Holidays if that is OK with you, Thanks

So what is the best suspension set up? H&R in the fronts, Eibach's in the rear? The previous owner had H&R all around so I dont have stocks to cut. To source CSI springs may prove to be difficult unless someone has a source. Please advise on the best set up for an all around ride comfort.

I'm friends with a local spring manufacturer, I'm looking into KAW springs from germany. They lower the car 2.16" in the front and 1.18" in the rear. Would it be of interest to anyone to have them copied and be readily available instead of ordering them all the way from germany?

I like a good drop but that red bmw on youtube with KAW springs is an overkill.

My H&R's with adjustable camber plates give me about a 1" reduction in overall height front and rear. Anything more than that will wreak havoc on any aftermarket or CSi bumper and you will be reduced to driving like a senior citizen everywhere in fear of a pothole, curb or speedbump. Wait! I am (now, officially) a senior citizen - and I dont drive like that!!!
