Above all, it's an attitude. It says, I just don't give a damn for your norms. It's outrageous. It's an offender.
Pic related - the greatest supercar ever, bar none:

The Wikipedia Encyclopedia lists the E31 as a Supercar/GT.
I like that as it also lists my bosses 1 series (witch he thinks is the coolist car ever) as a Small Family Car. Haha.

It is defined by the number of times rare is used to describe it and it's various components in e bay ads.
Based on this criteria alone the e 31 is a super car.
I swear I have never seen the word rare applied to anything else as often as I have seen it on e bay ads.:rolleyes:rolleyes:rolleyes

I would call our cars "super cars", but not "supercars" if that makes sense.
Frankly, one criteria for a supercar is that it's difficult to live with on a daily basis-one has to almost suffer for the performance. Case in point: The Lambo in the pic certainly qualifies and no one would dispute its supercar status. However, performance-wise a new honda could beat it in most (if not all) areas.
It's all about attitude as stated above-pretty much a middle finger to everyone around.

I always thought a 12 banger is automatically considered as a super car. You don't see a v12 in all car, but only in super cars.
