:) Lucky??? Wouldn´t be able to keep my hands on the steering wheel in our small city! 15.000 inhabitants and minimum 10 8-series - known! Outstanding, I know - no kidding!
1 S70(diamondblack), 1 M73 CSi-look(red, my dealer), 8 M70 (1 white, 1 blue(wide-body), 3 calypso, 1 barbados and 2 black diamonds:D)

I just looked into it and found out that only 2 other 8's even known of in a 100mi radius!

I live in a rather large city and the only 2 others are in distant far off places and rarely driven.

So I'm all alone save for a few in ATL 300mi away!

But yeah, I remember when I got my 3 5yrs ago, 90% of BMW drivers wave at each other, but that has diminished with the growing popularity. :(

also, saw a black one around the thousand oaks area headed the opposite way on the 101 with its [xenon] headlights on a week ago, no time to flash him

I have seen about three in edmonton, I saw a diamondblack one at night once that sounded super mean, and a was a 6spd for sure because of the way it got going from the lights.
