What do you call the headlight aiming module? How about the headlight aiming switch? I want to retrofit "the joystick" for the highbeams and start collecting the parts. :embarrasm

Danke! However I was trying to source the module out of a wrecked car in Europe. As such, was trying to to figure out what you called it in its proper/original German so they understood what I was referring to.

The box you are looking for is called "LW-Steuergerat", BMW part# 61 35 8 354 483.
I have everything installed except this box. What I need is to know where it is located in the car, so it can be plugged in. I am not certian if the wiring is already there or not. The aiming switch is plugged into the harness, but until the module is connected, I won't know if that plug is correct.
The reason for the uncertainty is that the rear sunshade need an additional wiring set that plugged into the car's harness in order to get all the sunshade components to work.
Anyone know where the headlight aiming moduile is located in the vehicle?

My G spec has the switch on the left of the light switch. Not sure where the module would be or even near that area . If you can get a pic of what the module looks like I could look on my car and search for it.

I have been told that the module sits above the glovebox, right by the AirBag Module, and I have been told it is up on the left side of the car, above the LKM, EKM & GenMod. So where is it really?????
