Did/do any venders anything similar for the larger engines?

I would love something akin to this for the V8 or V12s (both use the same filter cover.

Tap in for oil pressure monitor and oil temp monitor on a replacement oil canister cap/lid.

Hmm. I want to do some aux gauges for my M60. Anyone got pix of aux gauges in their E31? We have the same gauge cluster, right? How'd you guys rig it up?

Tapping the cap is easy enough, but did you guys use for the sender/gauges?

E32 and E31s have completely different clusters. For one thing, you have the nifty info display right on the cluster, IIRC.

Ah, yeah, you're right, different cluster:

I don't see much room there for any aux gauges, heh. For the oil temp/pressure gauges, I can just use any VDO one, right? And just drop the senders in to the oil canister? For the E32 I think I'm going to put them in the cigarette lighter ;)

There's empty spaces in our cluster for more readings, No need for eye sore external gauges. You should check yours before you add them.
