My Windshield wipers dont work. Before the totally stopped working they moved veeerry slow. I changed the wiper relay and that didnt work so the only thing left i can think of is the motor itself unless someone knows otherwise?

the general module also controls wiper function.i dont think it would create a slow motor problem.sounds like somthing is out of grease,wiper arm pivot points or the motor has bought the farm.before it dumped did it work better in any certain switch position?

it happened to me too
there are two options. either replace the motor and the seized linkgage.
or try to lube it up a little i did the second and it works fine now.
take off the cab in filter assembly and spray the assembly liberally with wd40.
worked fine for me.
but if you opt for the first i have a assembly on my 91 parts car

It moved slow in all positions. I'll just replace the motor. It's a 95 so i figure its about time to change it anyway. A lot of parts are starting to show their wear and this just happens to be one of em. As long as the engine keeps goin I'm ok. Thanks Dudes

I'm trying to reomve the wiper motor. I can't get to it! Why did BMW have to make this car so hard to work on!?! Anyone have suggestions on how to get to the motor? I took the wiper blades off and removed the filter cab in front. PLEASe HElP before i lose it!!! Thanks

At point 61-61/7(german version, guess it´s the same in english) you´ll find the key to your problem!

i also have a sort of similar problem with windshield wiper. it seems to work OK most of the time but there are times when it pauses for a quick moment while its wiping and it happens about like 4 times in a matter of about a second while its wiping. another problem is the motor for the windshield wiper fluids, mine doesn't spray on the windshield! i need to get a new motor for it.

yes my wiper jets are not working either. sounds like we have the exact same issue. I'm not sure if its connected with the wiper motor. It might be though. Its a guessing game to me.
