I'd like a place which has experience with Alpine alarms, so that I know my car is in good hands. Some ahve told me Circuit City but I kinda cringe when thinking about that--My car in the install bay at Circuit City? Ahhhhhhhhhhhh!

So, does anyone have a good recommendation? I am located in Northern NJ, very near the George Washington Bridge for your reference.

I'm even open to home mechanics, as long as you know they're good and can be trusted.

From what I read if you get the adaptor for the wiring harness than it isn't an impossible diy job.

Pyschocandy, I gave it a bit of thought and I don't wanna use wiretaps for an alarm install. I wanna get it done right--soldered, heatshrink, etc. In addition, I want to add some features like windows up and down, etc. and that gets a bit complicated.

So, if I can find a place that won't break the bank, I'll go that route.

I've heard that wiring harness is almost all but useless--Like you will still have to do some Mr. Wizard wiring to get everything to work perfectly. Not sure though, that's just what I've heard here in the forums.

Any other suggestions guys? Tom, I will give them a call.

Really, that is news to me. Thanks for sharing. Please let me know what kind of price you find for your install. I am being quoted $110 - $160 around here (Detroit).
