2007 X3 Bluetooth and Motorola Q 9c
For anyone that might be interested in this info. I had a problem with the bluetooth (http://forums.bimmerforums.com/forum/showthread.php?p=15001286&posted=1#) of the X3 and my Motorola Q 9C. The problem was that the phone would go crazy after it was paired with the bluetooth. It was horrible. Phone would freeze to dead. No phone calls could be done and contacts could not be sync. I think that I found what the problem was. It seems the reason it was not working it was because ActiveSync (http://forums.bimmerforums.com/forum/showthread.php?p=15001286&posted=1#). I used ActiveSync to sync with our Exchange server (http://forums.bimmerforums.com/forum/showthread.php?p=15001286&posted=1#), and after I mastered reset the phone threee times, a lot of posting reading and the use another method to conect to the server, the phone now connects to the X3 without freezing, and I can make phone calls. The only problem is that the contacts are not getting uploaded, I believe because the contacts are technically in the server not in the phone, but I can live without them because I can still see them thru my phone... As long as I can make and receive calls, I am OK...

Just thought will be good to share the info about bluetooth in BMW X3 (http://forums.bimmerforums.com/forum/showthread.php?p=15001286&posted=1#) and Active Sync...

New update on this... the contact list actually works too, and the steering wheels buttoms are fully functional... Some how the profile of the phone in the X3 gets overide with right info, after you make the first few calls...
