I would post a link bu they do not allow new people to be that helpful around here. ah1wcobra 11-23-2008, 10:15 AM when you first start the car cold it will miss and sputter on accelleration for a good 10 minutes even though the engine is at op temp.and it will do this every time the engine cools down.i refurbed the dk's,checked/replaced all vacume hoses,all injectors are clicking identically and based upon your thread i swapped both maf's.this did give me an increased rpm on cold start which i never had before but the miss is still there.i did notice yesterday that the two selenoid valves that are used to draw gas fumes from the charcoal canister arent clicking at all.im determined to find the problem because when the car is completely warmed up it does idle and accellerate smooth as glass so i know its capable of it.:help TTTXGreg 11-23-2008, 11:50 AM what plugs do you have in it? cold symptoms you describe can also be intake gaskets. carspainc.com 11-23-2008, 12:19 PM what plugs do you have in it? cold symptoms you describe can also be intake gaskets. very true. i have the set of intake gaskets from the spare engine and they are in good shape. jctmotorsports 11-23-2008, 11:55 PM Already changed them, rebuilt DK's, flow checked the injectors, new o2's, and full tune up. It made a difference but the rough idle stays... Chuck |
