well I no longer live in seattle but the good alternatives for independent bmw shops are strictly bmw in bellevue but it can be pricey there since they expect you to carry a suitcase full of 100-dollar bills around that block in bellevue..the other good one that I can recommend is car tender near the bmw seattle dealer..some of their former mechanics worked for bmw seattle before, or look at other independent shops in the local bmw mag zundolfge(sp?) ads..but I don't trust these very much unless I hear good things about them indpendently..anyshop can pay to advertise their businesses on mags.

If you decide to give StrictlyBMW a try, please let them know Bimmerforums sent you. I have heard nothing but positive comments about their operation... and I'm not just saying that because they are one of our Supporting Vendors. :devillook

I am a Car Tender fan. I trust them, find them honest and fair, and feel their prices are as reasonable as it's gonna get.

I've had great experiences with Performance Motors in Mount Lake Terrace... Pete is great!
