:atom A friend of mine told me the UnoCal on King st. by McDonalds in McCully has 100 octane at the pump. Of course the price is also high $6.00/gal. he uses it when drag racing.
Heads up, just might check it out for the Aloha 500! :buttrock

That's Gayle Au's Unocal. He also owns the Niu Valley Unocal. I've known about the 100 octane racing fuel, but it's kind of a waste as your car will not require all that octane. It just needs 92, that's it! The 100 octane stuff is for drag racing.

Thanks for the info, but some people just gottah find out things for themselves. But before I do, is there anyway the 100 could harm my 3.2 that you can think of?

If your car runs fine on 92 octane, do not use 100.
If you want to run more boost or advance your timing further, try the 100 octane. Your car is currently tuned to run on 92, and unless you are changing parameters which alter the needs of your engine you do not need to use anything but 92.
It's like pouring 10 gallons of water into a 5 gallon bucket. :12:
