I just went to fill the windscreen fluid tank (main tank in engine bay) and was thwarted because the filler cap is sealed to the tank - WTF??

There is a small hole in the top but its gonna be tricky getting 2 litres of screenwash through there- Is this an attempt by BMW to discourage us from filling the tank our selves?

:lol....I'm sorry but that just made me LMAO. I guess I visualized you trying to fill it thru that tiny hole. The caps are on really tight. I have only seen them sealed in a engine fire. Use a lil bit more muscle.

All of the cars that have headlight washers fill from the back edge of the boot.

There is an additional washer fluid tank in the boot that partially fills the front tank.

correct, the headlight washer equipped cars are filled in the trunk - the front bottle is a "no access thing"

She does indeed have the headlamp wash system - boot topups from here on in!

Cheers
