So you just want the inside of your wheels to be polished and cleared or painted? There should be no machining. Just maybe some cleaning and polishing. You posted pictures of two different wheels so I'm not sure what finish you are asking about. But you are basically looking at polished aluminum then cleared or painted and cleared.

I'm sure the Wheel Collision Center will do the work for you, but you will have to ship them your wheels. wheelcollision.com

1st: anodized

2nd: powdercoated or normal painted

both: buffed

that first photo looks like it's black chrome.
it is painted black first and then a second stage that does the effect.
i am not sure if that is what you want to do. but that's how i understood
it. here are a few pics

smokum there's a place around the corner from me that specializes in rimwork. i'm actually taking my car there next week to repair some curb rash (baaaaad) i did to mine last week.

the dude i spoke to was named "felton" but he was def not the manager or the owner, just the guy who did the work. anyway, worth a call to see if they could do what you want. just don't bring it to 'em next week.... that's MY turn in the garage :mad

cheers,

- E

I don't really see where the problem is. All what needs to be done is treat the inside the same as the outside.

Even work like this is possible

bolt the wheel to a spare freestanding hub and spin it while holding sandpaper on the lips?

sounds rudimentary but that's basically the effect you're going for, no?
