The use a M8 stainless steel cap headed screw (included with the pulleys). A normal allen key does the trick.

As for polishing, they are pretty shiney (just not mirror), they look great on my engine, and I am sure they will look great on Greg's. I chose not to mirror polish them, since nothing else on the motor is polished like that. They do make the engine look alot more "aircrafty" and high-tech.

Aluminum is 7075 (Aircraft Quality), bearings are double roller type with a max. sustained rpm rating of 18,000 - I think they should hold up well.

The pulleys available from Gerry/Wuffer I would guess are very similar and definitely do the same service- takes the worry of that "custom" look on your hood when they pop.
