are there any on the market? If not, can they be made? I say this because I see aftermarket e36 m3 ones on honda accords. Why not make some for e31s so we can all get them at a better price....I'm sure if we get enough of a order in we can get decent pricing. maybe the same can be done with the csi front and rear....let me know what u guys think while I look into some numbers.

There's already somebody in Germany doing this - and a thread here about them.
My guess is that you won't find as many takers as you think - in order to make them really attractive to somebody that doesn't have these part, they would have to be around 50% of list and it would be difficult to make a part for that kind of money that's worth putting on our cars.
Same goes for the front/rear bumpers - by the time you paint and install them, the cost of the part is not what kills you.
I'm going to be the cranky old guy and suggest that from now on, instead of a "how many people would be interested if I got someone to make us xyz" thread, do the work up front and come back with some hard numbers first. 10 folks that actually put up cash for ANY part is a pretty big number around here, so if you want to shoot for the stars then start from there. Then the thread could be "I found someone who will make us some CSI replica mirrors and if we order 10 we can get them for $579-who wants a set?"
As far as replica e36 m3 mirrors, it's all about economies of scale and quality - you're never going to sell hundreds of anything connected to these cars so the market will always be small. People have been asking/begging/pleading for CF hoods for years now - anybody know how many have been sold now that they are available?

Give 'em a call - they can add them whenever you need them was what I understood. I think they will add them when somebody orders them but 8s can chime in if he knows anything different

Mirrors can be produced again, but it can last some months! I´ll ask for the price, but I think it was about € 500,- incl. CSi-mirror-glas(dealer-price € 170,-!!!) and motors(memory or not, both on exchange with the customers originals ) and painting, excl. shiping, taxes...

Harry - I think you made my point for me - aftermarket mirrors aren't going to be any cheaper than what we can get them from Gault -
As has been said here many (many) times before -

...the price of cool ain't cheap" was actually a quote a former girlfriend told me, right before I dumped her gold-diggin' ass!
It's a great quote for these cars, yet not so great for women (even though it is true)

Knowing the story behind the expression just makes it better!
(Actually though, my wife is worth every penny! :))
