chill, it wasnt exactly planned.. I was on my way to va beach in the jeep. Marlon(with SER Spec V <--more on this later) was at patrick henry and martin was at dealer to pick vimal upp after a oil change (another funny experience, we'll tell you about later) lol

3.30ci will eat dirt from an M3 on the launch.

Correction would be, I said, over 90 on curves and narrow roads 3.3ci will perform better. I see the mods you have done, but not enough to compansate the technology change from '95 to '04 even though we are not still talking about the same cars.

Or you could just tell the story from the start, telling everyone how you backed in the light in the traffic just to come right next to me to race me HA HA

Um, unless you have a 330i with PP, there's no way you could even take a stock 95 M3 above 90, especially on twisty roads. There is no way in hell that a 330 is going to outhandle an E36 M3... that's gotta be one of the most ridiculous things I've ever read. Sure technology has changed, but the M3 is still a better handling and faster car than a 330i (again, unless you have PP, then it might be close, but I'd still think that M3 would handle better).

Well true BMW nuts do things like TALK about cars... even if it's in traffic in the early morning. Perhaps we did get off on the wrong foot.

M3 has the power...I am talking about the handling. Handling has changed so much over the years.

I have driven all kinds of BMWs to this date. I have accumulated my -23 DMV points ::evil:: on BMWs

I still think that '02+ 3.30ci w/sport package handles better than anything under '97 (Again, b/c of the technology difference)

You should try borrowing one of your friend's car and test it out.

Anyways, but the point is still I love all BMWs, not trying to say this is that and shit.

The E36 was a true drivers car because it allowed the driver to FEEL the road.. not allowing the computer to tailor your limits... essentially disregaurding driver input and using a specific program to drive the car.

Exactly what I was thinking. Oh, and by the way, I've driven multiple E46 BMWs, including E46 M3s, and I don't think any of them compare to the feel of the E36 in terms of handling feel and communication with the road.

But forget the whole E36 E46 debate this is something thats never giong to end..

I got in some trouble last month. I was speeding my a$$ of Richmond area coming towards...I saw the blue lights and I could only slow down to 83.
I just had sway bar installed and I did my own tints that day at my friends shop. I also got 15" Brembos, but didn't get to install them.

Anyway, I pulled over and he gave me tickets for 83/65 reckless, following too closely, (I didn/t roll down my windows b/c I just had the tint done so he checked my tint), illegal tinting material and unsafe lane change. So 4 tickets.

Well, after all the mods I didn't have any cash :dunno so I didn't hire a lawyer (I once hired a lawyer for my 100/55 and it was expensive)

Unsafe and tinting dismissed, so here I go with no license for 30 days. I only have 22 days left though. http://www.centurypixel.com/bmw/30days.html :bawl
