sounds like you have 2 left wiper arms. My driver side wiper doesn't fit on the passenger arm

You can't mount a standard wiper on the driver's side due to the special wiper arm used for the spoiler wiper. It's slightly twisted. By one at BMW for about 30 EUR. It will come with the BMW badge stamped on the top. // Freddy

i ended up using that wiper on both arms since the standard on that came with the bosch kit didn't fit the passenger side and my old driver's side did. i just switched out the blades. now i have 2 drivers wipers with spoilers. one is 'bmw" and one is bosch so instead of the bmw emblem on the spoiler there's just a blank circle. whatever. they work well and they fit underneath the hood when off. i have bigger fish to fry now....

those look similar to the blades that i have on my mercedes. they are pretty sick. the only thing i'm not sure about is fitment, since, like almost EVERYTHING else, the 8 series has unique blade arms neccesitating unique blade brackets. i'd be curious to know... keep us posted if you go for it!

It's funny, but I bought OEM wipers for my 8 a few weeks ago. The passenger side does not wipe in the middle. Wuffer suggested that the wiper might've been installed backwards. I flipped it the other way around, and it still doesn't wipe in the center. Could this be bad quality control at Bosch? I'm not sure what to do about it.

I think that you should be able to CAREFULLY bend the portion of the blade track where is doesn't wipe. Be real careful. Did I say be real careful?
Or maybe pull the rubber refill and insert it onto your old arm.

i think replacing the blade into the old arm would be the best idea. it seems as if these days that's what most people do anyway. i did that on my passenger wiper since the new one didn't fit (35 bucks down the tube) and now it works great! if only i could get my washers to spray it'd almost be like having a real car! :D

What about wrapping it around the neck of the dealer? :D

OEM should be the best, even if itīs not really cheap - today we had the same discussion in 8.de too...

But one question, are you sure, that the pressure adjusting device is ok? Do you have this problem at every speed?
