Hey, Eric, saw your car at Pav but didn't see you. Walked up to a group of teenagers just hanging around by your car; they hadn't seen you.

Looked like you were the sole BMW representin'

Smooth ride, by the way.

Yup, I saw Eric's car there too, no Eric though. I saw a couple other BMW's, There was a pretty nice TI, except it had some flames on the hood that I wasn't to fond of. Don't think anyone noticed me, I brought my Integra this time.

Phantom- I was at the ASRA event last Saturday, didn't see ya. Let me know if there are anymore events coming up. I really wanna ride shotgun.

Actually a few other people whowed up as well, but it wasn't the normal turnout. Next time you guys show up, be sure to take your cell phone so you can find us in the mess.

Or

Just look for the group of people laughing their asses off at the person who try's to make a display bouncing their car.

I really do dislike those damn things bouncing around everywhere.

I skipped out on Pav's, to move furniture around the apt, to show my roomate we didnt need her stupid shit in the living room anymore.

I would so go to show off the new front (see sig) but guess where my car is...CHAPMAN with a broken window regulator...bastards ar elike "1.5 hours to fix" Dropped it off last night and got a phone call at 11 (they close at 12 today) saying they hadn't started. I HATE CHAPMAN.

Dude, chapman fucking sucks. I went in for a vibration and they wanted to replace my clutch.

It was the support bearing on the driveshaft. (a difference of only $1000!)

A mechanic there swears that a rattle behind my steering wheel is the rack gone bad, and needs to be replaced. (for only $1300)

Northscottsdale is the only dealer I'll take my car to in the valley. With service like that, it's no wonder the cars cost so much, it all goes to pay for dealer labor!

Yah but my mom got talked into buying the extended warrenty through chapman and its cheaper to get shit worked on at chap then at NS which blows but what can I say.

I'll have to disagree on the north scottsdale bit. They totally ripped me off the one and only time I went there. Went there to have my suspension checked out. They replaced one front shock with the standard one instead of sport.. so my car became an even better off-roader (on one side at least).. they replaced one sway bar because it was bent.. and they did an alignment... total in parts was over $800... and total labor was over $1200 .... not to mention.. they screwed up and ended up keeping my car over the weekend.. and then the hertz they go through now for loaner cars charged me an extra $80 because NS told them allow only 1 day rental to BMW.. so I pick up my funky looking bmw with a $2000+ bill and an extra $80 tagged to my credit card.... last time I ever went to any dealership...

I guess there are boneheads everywhere. :(

I agree with you on the dealership thing. If I had all the time in the world I'd turn my own wrench on everything.

I've taken both my car and my dad's E30 to them for inspections and each time they did a bang up job. I haven't had my car serviced with them in a very long time actually; BMW dealers are expensive.

I've asked the shop supervisor, Bob Somethingorother, a few questions. He had definite ideas about where to look and what to do to fix my problem. I don't understand why they don't put shop sups in charge of service writers... couldn't hurt to have someone talk with you who knows what he's talking about.

The parts people an NS are really cool. They usually know what you're talking about, are patient, friendly, and the chick who takes your money is all of the preceeding + she's really friggin' hot. :)

If I am out of work early enough I'll swing by.

What time have you guys been clearing out of there?

Do you still go somewhere else after?
