Just was thinking about having a regular meet on Sat night or Sunday day to hang at a Dunkin Donuts or a shopping plaza to BS about cars, and just hang. I used to do this alot a few years back and enjoyed it. Anyone interested? If so, any location suggestions? It would be cool to have a place to go and hang regularly. It's summer, we need to get off the PC and get out of the house!!:cool:

I know ppl meet @ berlin tpk all the time, too far for me. Would be cool if it was in Norwalk, Danbury, etc.

I was thinking the Norwalk, Westport, Fairfield area. The Berlin Tpk is a little far for me, but if the majority of you are from there, I'd go. Perhaps this Sat or Sunday we can meet. Even if it is a few cars for a few hours of BSing/coffee...that would be cool.

How about this Saturday from 4pm to 7pm in Stratford at the Petco parking lot. It is right over the Milford bridge (big parking lot) across the street from a new waterfront grill/nightclub) which is always jam packed. There is a fair amount of activity there. Or Sunday, from 11am to 2pm. The address is:

This will be thie first weekly meet, we can plan the second one at the end of the first meet.

I would like to confirm this Saturday at the Petco in Stratford from 4pm to 7pm (or later). Once we meet, we can organize another weekly in lower Fairfield County or NY. I work in Harrison, NY....so it is close for me also. Hopefully it will turn out good.....if not, don't blam me for tryin'!! I'll be there whether it is 2 cars or 20.

The place:

Mama Rosa’s parking lot in Devon (Milford), CT (same place as last year). We plan on getting there between 10:30 am and Noon. Around 1:30 – 2:00 pm, for those interested, we’ll head out for a scenic drive through Easton, Redding, Monroe and end up at my place in Stratford to hang out, BBQ, swim, whatever. Last year we had a big turn out with about 60 - 70 cars. Around 20 – 25 cars went on the drive and ended up at my house. It was a great time. This email is going out to over 140 people who showed interest last/this year and wanted to be notified of this year’s meet. I expect lots of cars. All BMWs welcome.

Directions:

I95 in CT to exit 34 (Devon Exit). North or South bound gets off at the same place. At the bottom of the ramp go right. At the third light (just about .5 mile) turn left onto Naugatuck Avenue. Go 1.2 miles and turn left onto Broadway and an immediate left into Mama Rosa’s parking lot. For those coming in from NY via the Merritt Parkway, just pick up the Route 25/8 connector South (just after exit 48 in Trumbull) to the end and pick up I95 South from there. We will be hanging out on the side of the restaurant. If anyone comes late and we’ve already gone on the drive, I’ll leave directions inside at Mama Rosa’s for the late comers.
