I will soon be DIY'ing the rear shocks on my e36 M3 coupe. I did the front and rear struts/shocks on my wife's 325i sedan and was wondering if there are any differences. :dunno

For those of you who've done this, any advice/pointers would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance. :)

I have never done it on an M3 but looking at various manuals and the ETK and TIS it is exactly the same on the M3 as it is with the 325 you did, the only slight difference being the front top mounts as these have different camber so you need to make sure that they go back on to the correct side and the same way they came out, best to mark them and the struct tower before you remove them so that youput them back in on the correct tower and orientation as when you took them out.

Hope this helps

it's very straight forward. One bolt on the bottom, and one bolt on top....
