I have a '99 Z3 coupe, and I don't know what happened, but the liner that runs under the front of the car has come loose and is now dragging on the ground when I drive. I didn't notice until yesterday, and it wasn't until I got home, so I'm not sure how long it has been like that. Please, can someone recommend an honest and affordable shop in the area (I live in Hollywood/Los Feliz area). Thank you!

Great! Thank you. Where is your shop?
Great! Thank you. Where is your shop?
I don't have a shop, but I do quite a bit of side jobs for forum members and BMW CCA members. I work full time as a vet tech and I also go to school, so I only have ~2 afternoons a week to do car work. I have a garage to do work in tho. It sounds like your underpanels will more than likely have to be replaced, but I can't tell for sure without taking a peek, because it might just be missing hardware. :dunno

Well, just let me know when is good for you on Thursday, and where you're located. Worst case scenario, do you have any idea as far as cost goes for the under panels?
It really depends on what has broken/come loose. It could cost $0 in parts (just reattach using hardware or zipties), or the panel could be completely dead. I'm looking at the diagram, and there are several parts that could be rubbing. :az The big part that covers the middle is $45 from Pelican Parts. Anyway, I'll shoot you a pm.

Thank you so much. I'm heading to bed, but hopefully we can get together Thursday, based on your availability. Thank you.

Try Crown auto repair in Fountain Ave (almost in the corner of Normandy) right in front of the big apt of the Scientology church and ask of Ciebe. It's BMW/MBenz specialty with autobody/frame and paint booth in the rear of the shop. Not too far from where you live and it'll give you an idea how much it'll cost you to have it fixed. Tell him Sol referred you.
