Hey fellow e39's, I'm in a bit of a bind and I thought perhaps someone here might be able to help. I'm in need of some wheels for my '97 540i and I need them mounted on my car by friday as I'll be driving to/from phoenix over the weekend. I'm currently rolling on some old Potenza S03's with about -1% tread that I don't trust to last the 700 mile+ trip.Ofcourse I could always just buy some new tires but I so despise these style 33's that I just can't bring myself to do it.
So does anyone know of any e39 wheels in the SoCal area? Maybe a set just taking up space in someone's garage? I appreciate any help I can get.

how much do you want to spend on wheels/tires?
Hit up Craigslist, you can find plenty of wheel and tire combos for little money. Of course they'll be 15- or 16-inch rims but they'll get you to your destination and back.

I'm looking to keep it under 1k and I've been scouring craigslist but the only wheels I'm finding (15-16") aren't any better than the horrific style 33's i've got right now.

^^ That first Craigslist link for the ADR M-Classics, I emailed them last week and the guy never responded. I didn't really care because I noticed they came off of an 8-Series, so they need to be bored out to fit an e39. I doubt the OP wants to do that.

yeah, I'd already tried to contact the guy for those ADR rims to avail and I called the first place and there's no way i'm getting anything for the e39 under 1k. There's just no love for the 74.1mm hub.
