Today is the last day I ever get anything done at Wheel Works again.

I figured since my alignment was still warrantied I'd stop by and get it fixed. The car is pulling to the right so to drive straight I need to turn the steering wheel left. After 3 days of them working on the car I go in to pick it up for the last time this morning...

:D Looks like the camber on the front right is way out of spec because the car is modified. You should get camber plates.
:shifty The suspension has been fine for almost 3 years. How did it suddenly go out of spec? What did I bend or break?
:D Well the modified suspension lowers the car and puts it out of spec.
:shifty Then why is the left side fine and the right side has been fine for almost 3 years?
:D It's because the spring settled on the right side. If you get camber plates to fix the extra camber you will be fine except your tire might rub.
:shifty

Also my window stopped working again. Shoot me.

Thats why you don't go to Wheel Works. ;) I went to Auto Innovations in Milpitas on Minnis Circle by the :pullover for alignment. Knowledgeable shop and they specialize mostly on aftermarket suspension

It's too bad you guys don't have a place like West End Alignment up there. 99% of the work he does is on aftermarket/modified cars, and he doesn't give stupid reasons for why stuff doesn't wanna work. :rofl

we don't need West End Alignment, we have skybro :stickoutt.

but I feel you regarding Wheel Works, I went there last week to get some tires mounted and was in for a little surprise on my way out..they did maybe 1/3 of the work order originally stated, and took 3x longer than estimated.

I'll definitely go to Skybro.:rofl I know the suspension (besides the spring and shocks since those are new) is toast.

I was hoping they could make the steering at least close to straight so I don't have to think about it until after the motor goes in.:lol

I'm sure they do great work. But LBC is a little too far for me to travel just for an alignment.:)

Wait, you're doing all this to your M-Technic? What exactly have you done and are what you planning on doing to it?

Yes. OBD1 S52 was going to go in this month but the market decided to shit itself so I have no liquidity to buy the parts that I still need.

Once the motor is in the suspension is getting re-done. Starting with the rear since my subframe seems to be done for.:shifty

I go to Phil @ Pacific Tire in Milpitas, he has always done a good job, even when we brought him our 8 sec. Vette, not a problem.
