Anyone want to do some work on my 92 325is? I have a list of stuff I need done, but being without a garage, and a big fan of warmer weather.. I dont have the motivation to do it myself. Here's what I need done....

I will provide all parts... you just need to install them for me...

Rear shock mounts
Thermostat (Possibly housing... but it has to come off either way)
Rear Muffler replacement
Brake Lining sensors

Also I need someone to turn my SRS light off

I'm in Pawtucket, RI. Please let me know if someoen can do this. Doesnt have to be all stuff. Can do some of the stuff. I dont mind spreading it out over some time.:help

why not just take it to a local garage and pay them?

I'd rather have people who like/know/understand BMW's work on it. Besides, around me, if I take it somewhere around me, chances are they won't know how to bleed the cooling system... won't have a clue about the brake sensors, and prob will just mess something up. Maybe I'm just picky... I dunno.

Why not do it yourself. All of that stuff is very basic...

There are DIY's that you can follow online too...www.bimmerdiy.com

I'm more then capable of doing it myself. I've worked on cars my whole life. I've rebuilt more engines then I can to count. It's just that I really really hate cold weather. More then you could ever imagine. Plus, I have no garage. Just a driveway... and my fiance is having surgery and will be out of work for like 3 months. So my time needs to be spent other places. I'd just rather have someone do it for me now, and I don't have to stress about it.

Sign me up! I have a garage and tools and could use a little extra cash right now. I'm probably 40 minutes from Pawtucket. Let me know what your schedule is like.

Pm me a price for the work. I'll have to order the parts, so a few days atleast to get the parts in. I'm free every day after 2, and on weekends. Where are you located?

Been there. Done that. You have to yank out the kidney grilles and weasel a tool in there to pull on the latch. I found an "L" shaped allen key worked pretty well.

It's a damn shame I can't make the CSP meet this weekend. And next weekend looks monumentally busy as well. I guess there's always Friday night after work (or any weeknight for that matter).

FINNNNE. Bungy is a good guy as long as his rheumatism doesn't flare up and he's taking his fiber supplements. OK?

This is why Fred kicks ass. You can always count on this young whipper-snapper for a laugh.
