I can't find any good roads around here to open her up a little and enjoy the scenery. Down south, I had my fun spots where I'd go just to drive.

Up here, it's just the highway...boring.

Any recommendations? It's pretty up here right now, who woulda thunked it.

just about any state highway on the CT/RI border will probably be what you're looking for.....as long as you stay away from route 6 and the eleventy billion cops that patrol for out-of-staters

Really? route 6? every time i go to NY I alway take 295 to Rt6 to 395 to 95. the towns on rt 6 is like ghost town, barely any cars. also right when you get on from rt6 to 395, there is a stretch that no spots for cops to hide and no cars at all, really like a ghost highway. I remember when I just got my avus for about a month or so I have to go to NY, and when I hit that stretch, I want to test how good the car is, I went up to 120mph on that stretch and then I got scare and started to slow down.......now I couldnt do it, have to be mature and responsible.

yeah, 695 (that stretch that connects 6 to 395) is great, but in RI, in both scituate and foster, cops are absolute pricks. i've been pulled over for going 5 over. but route 6 in CT is too congested to get up to good speeds on.

greenleaf were you on rt99 today around 5pm? I just remember today after school I was on rt99, and saw a e46 3 series and a camaro racing. the e46 was right on the camaro's front fender. didnt get a chance to see who win, hopefully the e46

I can attest to both of these roads. Haven't been on them lately because of school, but I've always been able to open up on either of them no problem.:buttrock

around prov all there is, is 146N. no cops, the scenery gets "nice" after a little and you end up in MA after 30 minutes
