Alright guys, I want to replace my VANOS seals as preventive maintenance/later headaches. Any NE members familiar with this DIY procedure, and if so could I throw you some cash or beers to give me a hand with it/make sure I don't destroy my car? I'd probably buy the beisansystems seals, as well as a valve cover gasket.

I can't as I haven't done it myself, but are you sure you'd need them? 49K is fairly young to change the seals.

That said I'm sure someone else will chime in, but keep your seals OEM.
