I will confess to not being much of a fan of dash kits, although there have been a couple that looked good.
IMHO the best way to do it is to use the pieces very sparingly and to not put on every last piece that they give you-the three center pieces down the center of the car can look good-the rest just don't seem to fit well no matter where they come from.

No offence, but I think it looks cheap and ruins the clean cut look of the interior... just my opinion

They are stick ons and would look like badly applied wall paper that would worsen with time.

This was the first thing I bought BEFORE getting the car. It was advertised as aluminum and the picture looks 1000 times better. What arrived was a piece of crap (aluminum lookinf vinyl) - exactly was was sent back for the refund.
You would be better off painting the black components an aluminum color.
