I am sure that there have been posts already about this but I was wondering how to remove the cosmoline off my intake manifolds and if it is possible to do that without removing the manifolds?

Carefully with aircraft stripper/remover, Not the spray on kind! It will take paint off everywhere!!! Apply with a paint brush, Let sit then wipe the bulk of it with rags, Then carefully rinse and detail.

is this a product i can find at home depot?

I used Xylene and a stiff bristle brush the first time, and bead blasted everything the second time when I did the intakes.
